bangalore is famous as a computer center and known as India’s Silicon Valley. In recent days, Bengaluru has also been in the headlines after several parts of the city were flooded following continuous rains. Social media has been inundated with photos and videos showing the waterlogged streets and how some people have used innovative ways such as tractor and bulldozer rides to get to the office for work.
One such photo was shared on Twitter by Sanket Sahu, showing a man working at a desk in a cafe. “I just saw a group working from Third Wave Coffee with ‘full office setup’ because their offices are flooded,” he tweeted on September 7.

The post was retweeted by Peak Bengaluru, a page dedicated to start-ups and technology. It has received over 1,800 likes and 95 retweets so far. The photo surprised netizens, as many applauded their dedication.
“If your startup is moving their desktops to the third wave cafe to keep the flow going, I don’t care what your product is, DM me and I’ll invest $50,000,” one Twitter user commented.
“Nothing strange. I have seen and I also work in the cafe when the situation arises. These stores are a bit premium. Many of these cafes can be seen in Koramangala and HSR Layout. You are late to see them! Respect,” wrote another.
“It would have been understandable if the monitor was used as an external display with a laptop. “The biggest irony would be if they were working on smart city solutions,” another user said.
